in the NICU for a while, so we are so thankful that she is here safe and sound.

I decided it was time to change up my room, and I wanted a new picture of the Bountiful, Utah LDS Temple. Tim & I were married there 14 years ago (awww!). My, how time flies! So I packed up the kids one afternoon & decided to drive up there & get my own picture. Tim was working late, and I wanted to surprise him for Christmas. I got there just in time for such a beautiful sunset!

I love how it turned out! I'm putting this over my stairway.

But I wanted something new & different for my room.

A continuing landscape on three separate pictures.

I was so excited how it changed my whole room, so I had to share!

Mae is One Week Old!

My little angel niece is one week old. Oh, she is just so sweet!

She was very curious about the camera. I love that look on her face!

Their dog, Django, lays watch by the baby. What a good boy!

Okay, so she doesn't like being naked. That's a good thing, right?? We got a few pictures, but overall, she was not happy at all! It's a good think she looks so perfect all snuggled up.

I was so excited when my brother called this morning saying they were in the hospital having a baby! I've been waiting for this call forever it seemed! I asked how everything was going, and Adam said, "This is the best day of my life." That just melts my heart. I LOVE being an aunt. I love being able to snuggle and love more babies! I went up to the hospital early, hoping I'd be able to take some fun first pictures, and was so excited that I was there to catch her first bath.

She wasn't very happy with her bath, but afterward, she slept so soundly.

Congratulations Adam & Danielle! She is just perfect.

Tanya & I have been BFF's since 7th Grade. How come that seems like such a long time ago?!

She & Colby have such a cute family, I love hanging out with you all! -And you can hardly even tell in the pictures that everybody was freezing. Every single weekend it has kept snowing or raining! The rain stopped for a bit, so we decided to just hurry and take them. I love how they turned out!

My Sweet Family!

What a busy summer! I have been meaning to update my blog for such a long time, but things have just gotten carried away! So I figured I could start out with some pictures of my own family. Tim's brother got married at the Salt Lake LDS Temple in August, and I just couldn't help but take some pictures while we were all dolled up in such a beautiful place! I set up my tripod, got my camera set, posed the family, and then asked a sister missionary to press the button. Voila! I think it turned out great!

Here are my children. Aren't they so cute! I think I am the luckiest person in the world to be their mom!

This is Alec. He is 9 years old, and starting the 4th grade. He is the kindest, most fun big brother a little sister could ever ask for!

Lily is my little blonde sweetheart. She is 6 years old, and starting 1st grade. She LOVES school and her teachers. She cried when Kindergarten ended for the summer. She just wanted it to go all year long! She is the happiest, most tenderhearted girl!

Megan is my free-spirited little cutie! She will be 4 years old in October, and can't wait to start Home Preschool with her best friend, Millie. She loves to sing, and makes up the cutest songs all day.

Here is the Salt Lake Temple. What a beautiful place! I am so thankful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Tim & I were married and sealed the the temple 14 years ago, and I love knowing that our family will be together for eternity. What peace and happiness that gives me! I had a busy fall, and then Christmas hit. Sooo, here are pictures!

I love these pictures. My brother, Adam & his wife Danielle are two of my ultimate favorite models, because they always make everything fun! They like to try new things, and they have a flair for the drama. I love it! Here they are on 25th Street at night. The light behind them is a car driving past, while I used a slow shutter speed. I love the effect!

The snow picked up toward the end. It added a lot to the mood.

New York Photos

Tim & I went to New York in August, and had such a great time!

I had to post a few New York life shots. I had fun trying out new things in these pictures!

5th Avenue lined with Taxi Cabs. It was so stereotypical New York, I had to take the picture.

The subway tunnels and stations fascinated me! They had so much character.

So many of the subway stations had mosaic tiles, too, I just can't even imagine how long it took to create all of it. It was so very interesting.

The Manhattan Bridge, as seen from the Brooklyn Bridge.

Inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art. There was so much to see it was a bit overwhelming.

It was simply incredible what they had collected there!

The Atlas Statue in front of St. Patrick's Cathedral.

I loved the being here! There is so much detail and beauty.

I loved New York. Never a dull moment, that's for sure!

Tim was the best- most patient- supportive- photography assistant in the world.

Camera Club Print Show

I haven't updated my photos in a long time! I joined a camera club last summer, and have really enjoyed submitting photos for the monthly categories, and getting constructive feedback. Last week I submitted these four pictures for the Annual Print Show. I have had so much fun with my camera! The camera club print show will be part the the Friday Art Strolls starting this Friday. My brother Adam & his wife Danielle wanted some Christmas card pictures. Then we saw this tunnel. We had to try something new! I love how dramatic it is!

I think they should use the silhouettes kissing with the heel kicked up for their card. Oh yeah!

My brother, Matt recently got engaged. Yay! Amber is wonderful and we look forward to having her in the family! They have both been married before, so we did a "Yours Mine Ours" photoshoot. I think we got some great shots that capture their family personalities. They make me laugh!

As you can see, I have been on a rash of Fall Pictures Photoshoots! When the colors are perfect, they don't wait. I LOVED the setting here! I drove by a couple of days later, and every leaf had fallen. We got there just in time... and they look so great!

Tim's brother Dustin and his family had me take their pictures today. (Okay, I may have suggested/coerced them, that I should take their pictures a while back...) I was excited to try out some new locations, and I think they turned out great! What a cute family!
